The Meaning Of Life

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. Picasso

I believe true happiness and contentment only come from one thing and that's aligning with your life purpose.

Now I don't mean PURPOSE, like Gandhi leading a non-violent resistance, or Moses who led his people to freedom. No, I mean Purpose with a capital P. The gift that is uniquely yours alone, that you share in the world and that very act brings you fulfillment.

As a photographer, you realize pretty quickly that everything has been photographed. Except maybe my butt! However, that doesn't stop anyone from going to that valley, wall face, market or waterfall and taking a picture. 'Cause ultimately, the photo has not been taken by me. And that is what makes it unique.

What I've found is that when I've lived a life without Purpose, I felt stuck, frustrated and lacklustre about everything and everyone around me. But the times I've found that Purpose, I've lit up like I have a fuel tank under my feet and a fire in my belly. The synergy and synchronicity from acting upon that Purpose have just propelled my life upward and outward. My life became big. And there are no coincidences. The universe aligns to help one fulfill that Purpose.

And I find your purpose can and does change. It's your unique gift that you share with the world. Of course, it changes as we grow and become more truly our best and higher self. However, sharing it in the world is what makes it our Purpose and makes the fulfilling of it, our happiness and contentment.

So, my question to you today is, have you found your gift and are you giving it away?
